طفولة قاسية في مخيم خان يونس

وُلد محمد دياب إبراهيم المصري، المعروف بــ محمد الضيف، أبو خالد عام 1965 كان مولد محمد الضيف في الثاني عشر من أغسطس عام 1965 في مخيم خان يونس للاجئين، لعائلة فلسطينية هجّرت قسرًا من قريتي كوكب والقبيبة خلال نكبة 1948. نشأ وسط الحرمان والفقر، في بيئة تشبّعت بروح المقاومة، مما ساهم في تشكيل وعيه السياسي والعسكري.

طالب متفوق ومسرحي بارع

التحق الضيف بـالجامعة الإسلامية في غزة، حيث درس الفيزياء والكيمياء والأحياء، وكان من أبرز الطلاب في كليته. بجانب دراسته، انخرط في الأنشطة الفنية والمسرحية، حيث كان مسؤولًا عن اللجنة الفنية في الجامعة، وقدم العديد من المسرحيات التي تناولت القضية الفلسطينية والمقاومة.

Mohammed Diab Ibrahim al-Masri, known as Mohammed Deif, Abu Khaled, was born in 12.8. 1965 in the Khan Yunis refugee camp to a Palestinian family forcibly displaced from the villages of Kawkab and al-Qubayba during the 1948 Nakba. He grew up amid deprivation and poverty, in an environment imbued with the spirit of resistance, which contributed to shaping his political and military awareness.

An Outstanding Student and Talented Theatrical Artist. Deif enrolled at the Islamic University of Gaza, where he studied physics, chemistry, and biology and was one of the most outstanding students in his college. In addition to his studies, he was involved in artistic and theatrical activities, serving as head of the university's artistic committee and presenting numerous plays that addressed the Palestinian cause and resistance.
